By accessing or using Gild (joingild.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or subscribe to content on Gild. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account or transfer it to another person. Gild reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Creators are solely responsible for the content they post. Content must not include: illegal material, content depicting minors in a sexual context, non-consensual intimate imagery, harassment, or content that violates any applicable law. Gild reserves the right to remove any content and suspend any account at its sole discretion.
Fans subscribe to creators through Gild's payment platform powered by Stripe. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. All payments are processed by Stripe and subject to Stripe's terms of service.
Creators receive payouts through Stripe Connect. Gild is not responsible for delays or failures caused by Stripe or banking partners. Creators must maintain a valid, verified Stripe account to receive payouts.
Gild charges a platform fee on creator subscription revenue. Gild charges a 20% platform fee on all creator subscription revenue. Creators receive 80% of gross subscription revenue before Stripe processing fees. Gild reserves the right to adjust fees with 30 days notice.
Creators retain ownership of their content. By posting on Gild, you grant Gild a limited, non-exclusive license to display your content on the platform. You may not use Gild's brand, logo, or trademarks without written permission.
You may not: scrape or automate access to Gild; attempt to circumvent subscription gates; impersonate other users or creators; engage in fraud, spam, or harassment; or violate any applicable law.
Gild is provided 'as is' without warranty of any kind. Gild does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gild's liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid to Gild in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Gild may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
